First time bought tickets online as mater would normally collect in advance from the stadium. Is the only option for printing ticket via home printer or like train ticket machine can the code generated be used to print out the tickets from the ticket machine outside the stadium?

Does the ticket even have to be printed? I know a lot of places with scanners these days will just do it straight from your phone if it produces the barcode.

The problem is that the tickets are not even in pdf format, it's a simple basic print page job, you can't even trim them, you can't save them in any way to be able to put them on a phone either (though I suppose I could do a screen grab but would lower the resolution somewhat) They even print out in full A4 size ffs!

It's a waste of paper and you have to print out all the advertising plus at A4 you have to mess about folding or cutting it up so it actually fits in the scanner.

Isn't A4 the standard paper size used in home printing?

I think you should have to print them out on A1.
Barcode scanners could be a problem though.
