Heard Radford interviewed about the marquee signing rule on Humberside tonight and he said "We won't be paying anyone £200,000 a year".

Are the club going out of their way to depress us this week?! so basically despite having one of the biggest revenues in the league we aren't going to even try and sign a big name to help bring crowds back and help us get out of mid-table obscurity?

Although we have decent attendances, we pay through the nose to use the KC when you factor in additional revenue we don't get from not owning the stadium. warrington made £600k profit last season on smaller crowds than us. Once saints get over their initial period in their new home they'll start making good profits. leeds are in a class of their own and hudds and wigan pay a relative pittance to play in their rented stadia. Despite what the mad egyptian claims, playing at the KC under the current agreemnet holds us back as a club
