Hope any unvaccinated players aren’t getting paid this weekend. Am quite impressed with the French attitude on this and wish the British authorities had followed suit

I hope they are getting paid. At the time of signing contracts entry for unvaccinated players was possible so it’s not the players fault and you shouldn’t be able to bully them into being vaccinated or losing a wage. They were able to play until France changed their stance.

Any contracts going forward and agreed after that’s another matter and I would imagine will be taken into consideration.

Of course it doesn’t help them trinity on the pitch this coming weekend but we just have to get on with it.

Stand by my original comments , players have had plenty of time to be vaccinated . Cannot understand why any rational healthy person wouldn’t have the vaccine.

Currently am self isolating and there is a decent probability I picked it up at the game if it’s correct that about a quarter of the staring squad are unvaccinated think I m probably safer watching on tv

I understand your sentiments.
However, if you sign a contract and the terms of that contract can be changed mid term, without any renegotiation, on point of principle, how can that be right.
Just as the NHS had to backtrack, this has to be an individual choice and I say this as someone who is vaccinated and boosted.

Get your point and for me this another reason we shouldntbe having non english teams in comps but thats all about opinions.the main issue for me the vaccine doesnt prevent you from catching or spreading the virus so what difference does it make

I don’t It just didn't look great at the game so be surprised if he is.

It will be a tough ask in France. Just saw the Poching post match interview and when asked about Tupou and if he was ready there was a very firm no from WP.

I’m looking forward to seeing Minns though as I think he’s looked good in pre season.
