Excellent turn out today from your lot, well done!

I'm sat on the touchline as we only picked up tickers at the ground and our following is pretty impressive. I'd guess at least a couple of thousand but it's hard to say how many if us are in this touchline stand.

I watched intently when they scored, to the left of the Wigan end there were hardly any Cru fans at all, the only Cru fans were to the right of the Wiganers opposite the tunnel.

We bought tickets at the ground but couldn't buy any for the away end which they said was sold out. So we had to buy tickets for the Yale stand on the tunnel side. My son was determined to get in the away end and spotted his opportunity when the stewards let in a family through a side gate. He shouted 'dad' and claimed he had been given the wrong ticket and was split up from his family who had just gone in, so the steward let him in!





So I was now separated from my son so I went to the turnstyle at the away end and the man on the gate just wripped off the stub and let me in. Bless him, the old geezer never checked my ticket which was for the Yale stand!





If the gate was 5000 then there must have been 3500/4000 Wigan fans.

The Warrington travelling fans aren't going to be pleased, they brought the most away fans last year. They will have to up their game this year, if they want to bring more than Wigan!!!!

Amazed that they gave the crowd as 5,037. Content enough with that figure if it was actually that many, but I'm amazed if the stadium was genuinely 50% full this afternoon. Very worrying turn out from the home fans - there seemed to be so many more outside than there ended up being inside for some reason.
