| Another example of 'what is the purpose of Super League?' Bronchos 62 Wolves 18. The result doesn't matter to either team and people moan about Championship matches being meaningless.

| Meaningless ?
Wire have just handed the NON RELEGATION league top spot to the Pies because they have one eye on next week.
I am going to see Chris Hill get a winners medal anyway and I didn't see all of the Wire game for obvious reasons but I would not be best pleased if I was a Wire fan and had taken the trouble to watch my team live.

| Wire found out last year that finishing top means bugger all in the play offs.

| I had a wry smile last night when Eddie had to just stop himself from referring to London, Widnes & Cas being in a relegation battle! Was trying to suggest how exciting it was but then had to say it was a fight to avoid finishing bottom - not quite the same!

| As I pointed out to a pie eytin' mate of mine, who was gloating over this result - Wire were already guaranteed 2nd spot, and could only win the 'Hub Cap' if pies slipped up in their last three games. As play-off format in SDL is completely different to our league, the only benefit to finishing top would be the club call. I imagine Wire wont to be too worried about not getting first dibs!! - so for the sake of having your first choice 17 fresh and available for selection for THE CHALLLENGE CUP FINAL, I'd say absolutely the right thing to do.
The Hub Cap - it's only important if its your team thats winning it!!

| The top 8 play off was worth trying but clearly it doesn't work IMO. The first clue was the first season they did it and 8th placed Catalan lost more games than they won.
Should go back to top 6, exactly like we do it. I still don't understand the top 8 format.
When we get 14 team competition, lets hope it isn't introduced to ours.

You mean like Warrington last year then? Funny isn't it how it's now no longer important, especially when your not winning it
You mention the super league on here more than we do on our site, your not in it so get over it, the lower leagues are destined to become feeder clubs, either that or there will be an even bigger divide between the leagues, more than there is now. Oh and finally, chris Hill is still a wiganer

Watch it Pastry girl .
Chris is a Leyther currently playing for Warrington ask him.
When Championship fans accept feeder club status' pro RL will die a very quick death.
Is Richard Lewis a Pie lad or is he from Oldham like you ?
