| Surprised nobody's brought this up. Skimming through the game this morning it seems to me pretty obvious that it was contact with James Greens shoulder that broke GenOs jaw. Seemed to me to be accidental contact, but the way the game has been going is it something that the judiciary could/should look at? (49 minutes in if you can't face watching the full game again).
Perhaps if there was a chance that we would be playing Rovers again this season TS would have made a meal of it in the hope of having him banned for our next meeting!

It was Burns - the only difference between the two for me was that in the burns incident he was first (and only) man in the tackle.

Accident, part of the game, plus he was slipping slightly, you can't really start punishing players ever time someone gets injured, especially when making a legit tackle.hope he gets better soon, but just unfortunate.

| It was accidental and I don't want him to be punished for it. I'm getting sick to death of fans (not a pop at the OP, a pop at the ever growing soft RL community in general) coaches and the RFL demanding and going though with banning players when they shouldn't be. The game is soft enough as it is without even more sanitisation through fear of getting banned for nothing.

Which is kind of why I asked the question. As I said, I also believe it was accidental contact and as a tough collision sport there are always going to be injuries, some serious, that are simple accidents. But there have been other collisions in other games resulting in less damage to the recipient, that look to be equally accidental yet the RFL have considered the act worthy of punishment. I suppose the word that gets brought up most when discussions come up regarding the judiciary is 'consistency'.

| The way he is getting shafted on here, I'm surprised no-one has posted that this injury is a blessing in disguise and it gives Penny a chance.

I don't get the Ormsby "getting shafted on here" vibe at all WFIII.
It wasn't one of his better games that's for sure and he shouldn't really have had his pocket pinched for Sio's try but shafted I just don't see it at all.

| If Gene's bad luck is Kevin's good luck then so be it, we could always try Rhys in there risking another 6 month lay off
