| very happy with tonight.... the intensity was brilliant.. so many decent displays... the result almost means nothing in the scheme of things.
most of us have written this season off as a learning curve (well i know i have)
these last few weeks we have seen some of these players stand up and show their real worth.. and its been a joy to behold.
next season we will have the dead wood removed and decent players in their place.
were about to see a new dawn at warrington... excellent young players with quality established RL players.
the youth policy and the clubs spending power is about to bear some fruit.

| I'm not quite as happy we lost tonight lol, but we could have easily lost the plot after that first half nightmare and we didn't, we hung in there and almost ground out a win for ourselves which is good. Cons would be they played with practically 17, and even down to 16 for that game and we couldn't put it to bed, which with our chances we could have done. Having said that, Roby's try non-plussed me, if that hadn't been given, we probably win. The future is bright, if Philbin keeps hitting lines like that he's going to score a shed load.

exactly... we were a few dodgy calls and a few bad passes from a nice win.
im not bothered about the result... for me it was all about the display tonight.. and i thought we were brilliant.
put a few very good players into this side and we would be fantastic.
ive been against smith this season... as ive layed alot of blame at his door... but now ive changed my mind.... i think he has a plan....and its a ing good one

| Thought you played very well. Better than against Wigan. After all, Wigan were nowhere near as difficult to deal with through the middle. Bit disappointed we weren't 12-14 points up by half time. Even more so when you grabbed that try so close to the half. Then I thought you played smart trying to run the stamina out of our big guys. It worked.
Against anyone else I think Warrington's pack wins the game. Been a bit critical of Hill early in the season but he was excellent tonight. As were his teammates. But I thought Walmsley, Masoe and Roby were special.

| Mugwump; if you think that game was won/lost in the pack , you merely serve to reinforce your lack of understanding of the game.

| Don't see any "arrogance" in being disappointed we didn't convert control of the midfield into two scores instead of one during the first fourty.
As for not being happy about conceding in the last few seconds of the half - there's not one of you who'd think differently. And you know it.

| Roby was class, mose good for his ten but hill was much better than walmsley last night as he is full stop. Let's add forwards to nrl full backs and the kicking game of half backs to the ever growing list of things mugwump knows nowt about.

| No question the saints pack and backs were on top.
Good job Bridge is out and Ratchford is clearly not match fit otherwise I'd be pipping on about R&B again.

Hill better than Walmsley last night? The stats don't lie with props. Walmsley was rampant, crashing through the line time after time and making more metres. Defense also superb for a big man. Mose as well was good to watch, he likes the HJ doesn't he.
