I can understand it. Dorn can be lethal on kick returns and they hardly want Carney to be running it back at full speed.

But when Leeds were 10m out? Leeds have scored now and probably game over and people will say they were right tactics, but Cas were in that game when Leeds should have been out of sight.

tactics like that win games, we will never see classic games in finals anymore, the last time we saw a great cup final game was 2005 (a little bias i know)

Well played Leeds, dominant pretty much throughout. I thought the occasion got to a few Cas lads, Dorn in particular looked as though he didn't fancy it today after a few whacks.

Not a classic but Leeds played their game plan perfectly, might not be as exciting but exciting doesn't always win you trophies.

Similar to the semi, they ground out the win.

Boring tactics? It's called rugby league. Why kick in a way that encourages Cas to attack when you can kick in a way that nullifies a threat from Cas? Especially when backed up by enthusiastic defence that caused Cas to make a few errors in their own half.
That, Ryan Hall & Danny McGuire was probably the difference.

Just felt Leeds were playing a dangerous game willing to defend a 10 point lead. When Cas scored their second it was 16-10 with 30mins left and couldn't believe Cas were still in it.

Worked out for them in end, Hall was class.
