Happy with this, I’m a big fan of Donaldson, is he a world beater? no, however IMO he’s a type of player every squad needs and he’s got where he has through determination and hard work, these are attributes that will be key for our younger players to learn and from what he says he sees his role as a bit of a mentor to the younger players.

Id like to see Hurrell next on the extension list.

Yep well deserved. Every team needs a player like Donno. Good player and a top Pro. Shows the benefit of taking a hungry player with a great attitude and give him some good coaching, they can be a real asset to the team and not cost the earth

Personally I'm happy with Donaldson on another extension he's a real grafter and never let's team down when he plays if everyone was fit would he get in my first choice 17 maybe not but he'd be in and around match day squad even as 18th man because he seems a good attitude to have around the team he's only 29 as well so still got some rugby in him and can't see him taking up too much cap a well.

You need players who lift the mood in the dressing room and he does that.
Useful that he can carry 4 defenders over the line with him as well....

Wrt Hurrell it would be good if he stays but i wouldnt retain him as a Marquee player.

It’s probably a purely selfish thing with me wanting Hurrell to stay, i watch the Rugby to be entertained and I feel a bit robbed that we’ve basically been robbed of a whole season of watching him live due to Covid.

Well deserved contract extension for Donaldson. Twelve players off contract this year it will be interesting who the club decides to offer new deals to.

Yeah quite a lot that. Should hopefully make players play for a new deal this year tho. Contract years seem to make players up their games sometimes.

Leeming - Yes 2 year
Prior - Expect he will decline and return to Aus regardless
Martin - Yes 3 year
McClelland - No (unless he rips it up this year)

Don't think we can keep Hurrell unless it's marquee again.
I'd offer him that, or someone wise will. He's been top draw most of time for us.....
