| ... have gone backwards two weeks running.
No Leeds forward gained 100 metres again.
Leuluai 58m, Buderus 68m, Peacock 76m, JJB 77m, Ablett 78m, Sinfield 59m, Lauitiiti 49m, Bailey 59m, Hauraki 90m, McShane 47m.
This in stark contrast to Graham 145m, Roby 191m, Puletua 144m.

| Absolute pointless statistic on it's own.
I have no doubt the Saints forwards will prove more effective, but just giving meters on it's own is pointless. I would guess the Leeds backs will have done more carries and more meters than the Saints backs, because Leeds seem to play this tactic on most occassions.

| It’s a disgrace considering what our head coach was back in his playing days at Bradford. You’d think at least he would be able to teach them how to set a platform wouldn’t you?
What is even more embarrassing is that he played for England as well. What a fall from bloody grace!

| One can be forgiven for cringing when talking about things like completed sets and errors, etc, but here goes...
Saints - sets 41, completed sets 34, incomplete sets 7, set completion 83%, errors 9, missed tackles 16, clean breaks 10, offloads 8, penalties conceded 7.
Leeds - sets 40, completed sets 28, incomplete sets 12, set completion 70%, errors 15, missed tackles 24, clean breaks 3, offloads 8, penalties conceded 7.

| Statistics are seldom entirely revealing on their own. However, when the circumstantial evidence is telling you your forwards are getting a beating and then this is backed up by statistics, your forwards are probably taking a beating. You can't play the much-loved champagne rugby off that kind of platform.

| It's noticable that our back row forwards never look like running a good line and punching a hole. Look at Wigan and compare their back row forwards to ours.
