| Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane told BBC Radio Manchester have come out with comments saying 'we're beatable' and 'it's a great game for them' and 'they're very confident'. Many of the comments I've heard have been bordering on disrespectful.
"They can be as confident as they want, but they're going to get a tough game this weekend and we'll be trying our best to make sure they don't get that win.
"We've played in some big games over these last few years and they've not played in as many, if any, so to be that confident is very risky for them.
"They come here with confidence because they've scored a lot of points and beaten us at home, but I wouldn't be overconfident if I was them."
Show us some proof Mr Wane...anything that proves what you have said is true,It's amazing that all your injured players have "recovered" just in time for this weekends match, but hey,we're just a small town club who should bow down at the feet of the mighty Wigan,or,are you just trying to rally your own players because THEY feel over confident of the result, either way you have made yourself look rather childish and stupid.....even more so than normal.

| Just Wane trying to be like Alex Ferguson and playing mind games. We have nothing to fear, they are the team that is expected to win so let him spout his rubbish. One thing about Darryl Powell is he won't be drawn into any of Wane's shenanigans.

| I am quite surprised that he would say something like that as I thought he was quite a nice person from what I have seen, and heard, of him. But if that is the way that he wants to be then so be it. At least when the cameras are on Daryl Powell he'll not be effing and blinding most of the time. Wigan are going to get a tough game as well and I hope that he realises that as we'll not be just turning up for a day out. There is nothing wrong with being confident unless he thinks we should go there papping ourselves and hoping to kep the score to less than 20 - 30 points.

| I would say those comments from Wane, which are just mind games incidentally, are what are bordering on disrespectful.
Was there any need to add "let's see what they win and where they end up", if it was purely about Cas being confident.

| I'd love to know where he has got these so called comments from. I haven't heard anything "disrespectful" come out of the Castleford club regarding Wigan. His comments will probably fire us up even more.

| I can't believe anyone's taken in by that.
He's really hooked some people with that comment.
As for Wigan getting all their injured players back, not quite accurate, Thornley, Green, Clubb and Pettybourne are out injured. If they were fit all four would be in the game 17.

| Coaches have played mind games for years add to that a bit of creative journalism and you get yourself a good story. Wane is looking after his team and getting his players up for a big game. Powell will do the same in his own way. If you want to get your knickers in a twist over it I suppose that is up to you.
I'd take it as a compliment. If he didn't think Cas are a threat and have a chance of taking the spoils he wouldn't have bothered.

| Powell will do the talking in the dressing room instead of in the media.

| I'd take it as a compliment tbh and a sign that he's a little worried. He wouldn't be saying that if he thought we weren't in for one hell of a game.
He reserves games like these for Saints usually so that says it all.

This comment, and Wane's comments, are patronising. I don't think the fans do it intentionally, but gosh it's patronising. "He wouldn't be saying that if he thought we weren't in for one hell of a game"? Well I would think so, given that we're higher than you in the table at present.
I understand that we're 'underdogs' going into this game in the eyes of many, but it wouldn't hurt for Wane to get some class in this situation. I just don't find it 'flattering' as you guys keep telling us.
