To be scrapped after this Season,in 2019 one up one down

A big part of the problem with our spot is the constant changing of the structure. There's no consistency and no chance to build any history. Compare it to football with the Premier League: they got it right 26 years ago, and the structure has hardly been changed since.


Also, its totally unprofessional that they make these changes so late. More than half way through this season and no-one knows what the situation will be next season. How can teams plan for the long term?!?

The top team should be promoted, end of. Although it might help us if there was a play-off game as we've never come first since we got ejaculated from SL!

The biggest nail in its coffin was the fact that folk didn't flock to watch the games.

No doubt it'll be replaced with another carp idea.

And - as we've finished in the top six in each season since this crazy system started, I'd question that anyway. You're probably thinking of Fax.

If this is approved then we need a Cup competition again like the Northern rail cup to create something for the rest of the Championship and league 1 to play for, otherwise there is little other than a few quid for finishing higher up to get fans interested in.

I am not looking for a minor revamp. In reality we are only striving for the top four because of the funding to help us be competitive the following season, as we simply do not generate enough cash ourselves to do so. Not that anyone really believes we will ever get back in to SL.

I want the leadership of our sport to establish a plan that will benefit the sport as a whole from top to bottom.....however I am more likely to win the lottery, and I never buy a ticket!

Have enjoyed the Super 8s format, but ultimately promotion is a false dream for Fax at this stage. Until a big money man comes along SL it's not really likely, and we're kidding ourselves otherwise.

Bring back the Northern Rail Cup and let's have another day out - am all for that.

Doesn't mean we can't continue to grow as a club and move forward with the good work with the reserves etc. Am not sure SL is the promised land it's made out to be.

If a couple of Super League clubs don't make the cut this year though, lookout for a sudden expansion of SL for 2019...
