Looking forward to our first home game of the season proper !

Should be a different challenge to the Workington game which was played on a energy sapping pitch, keighley appear to be a stronger outfit than last season, well at least on paper, I was impressed with our 2nd half performance at Workington which gives me confidence we can gain another win, however I believe we need to be a little more disciplined.

The effort the lads put in was amazing and I hope we are out in numbers to support them, the away following at Workington was embarrassing, no more than 20, I appreciate it's a long way, but all 3 Cumbrian teams brought more to the keepmoat last season.

I believe a strong vocal support can make a difference to a teams performance so I encourage fans to make a greater effort to get behind the lads away from home, fans are easy to criticise players for lack of effort at times, sounds a little hypocritical from those who don't make the effort themselves.

I am aware we can't always attend every game due to either work, finances, holidays, family commitments, but surely we can take more supporters away, we had more players than fans on Sunday.

i think it will be a tough game but we must make sure we win most of our home games against teams that will be in the mix for the bottom 4 of the top 8 if you know what i mean.
