James Rule doesn't play, give the players direct instruction or decide who's Captain, so its a little bit far from the mark to call for his head, when we can all see these are Agars f*** ups. Hearing "it was just one or two things that cost us" is about as boring a "non-statement" as it could be! That's like standing next to your wrecked car after an accident and saying "well, if that other car hadn't have been there...", well it was, so its a sh*t point!

I think Rule is getting his balance of success on and off the field wrong, currently we do very well off the field with merchandising and other revenue streams, if only James would put as much work in with the on-field antics, maybe we'd be in a better position. (...and that was meant with all due respect)

My point is that I don't think he's got the experience to do everything yet, but I don't believe FC should be used someone's learning curve, if he wants to learn then he should go to Uni and play with pretend teams for a while.

FWIW, I think Rule will BECOME a good CE, he's just not there yet and I believe Hetherington isn't the person to bring him on. Who's going to tell him when he's wrong and guide him?!

He needs a stronger person than Kath, but I just don't think its going to happen any time soon.

just some words of comfort though, remember what you were saying during the dark days of the peter walsh era and you went on to 3 major finals and a cup win in the end things change quickly in this game but you need to hit your board in the wallet, thats the only thing they care about.

Its taken then time period to get back towards the top of the top flight.

A CEO is supposed to be the main man, the decision maker. Its blindingly evident he is either not allowed to make the big decision with regard to the coach or hasn't got the minerals to do it.

If he hasn't got the experiance to be the top man, he shouldn't be in the job.

I personally couldn't care less if he will BECOME a good CE. A company in the top end of its industry shouldn't be headed up by someone still learning the ropes.

Also, like her or not, Hetherington is a lot stronger an individual then some would hope to beleive.
