SAM Moa is in line for a shock call up to the New Zealand Test team after just three games with the Roosters. An NRL unknown at the start of the year, the barnstorming prop received a surprise call from New Zealand coach Steve Kearney last week asking about his eligibility ahead of the Anzac Test on April 19.
New Zealand are likely to be without injured Bulldogs prop Sam Kasiano and have earmarked Moa as a future Test player following three outstanding performances for the Roosters. The 105kg prop officially declared his allegiance to New Zealand last week."Steve asked me about my allegiance and told me I had a week to decide,"
Moa said."I told him I didn't need a week and that I was a Kiwi. I was very humbled that he asked and it would be a great privilege to play for my country, although I think I have plenty of hard work in front of me before that happens."

| Good for him.
Don't think he would of get anywhere near the Kiwi team, if he had still been playing for us.
Another massive loss, which we haven't got anywhere near replacing.

| Would be really pleased for him if it happens, he's a player that went from being overweight and unfit a few years ago to a top prop through hard-work and dedication. He has been massively missed this season.

Even though it was slightly different conditions, no, not really. Same goes for Carvell. I think it's disrespectful to basically use one national side as a way to get onto the international scene and then turn your back on them just because a better side you also qualify for comes knocking. At least with someone like Briers although he was born England he stuck with Wales after the end of the GB side.
To be quite honest, I couldn't give a monkeys if the international game dies completely. There are only 2 sides of any worth and they pinch each other's players so much that they're more like SOO sides than national representatives anyway.
