Yeah they do, they should play like that every game, if they did I feel we would win far more than we lost.

At 36-12 it was game over. Leeds' contact in the tackle was poor throughout the game and it was no surprise to see them concede so many points when starved of posession. That said i didn't ever see them losing.

Hull did very well to make a game of it though it is fair to say they chanced their arm a little.

Credit where its due (everyone gasp in amazement, this coming from a robin), I thought it was all over and vanessa feltz had picked up the microphone but your guys dug in and got momentum and had them on the rack, hence the drop goal.

I reckon if that kick off hadn't bounced out and given leeds the scrum from the kickoff you might have just pipped em as you had all the momentum and they were giving loads of penalties away.

Thats it, no digs or anything, even tho i'm a rovers fan, i'm a rugby league fan too.

As a neutral, I agree with you. Your guys played out of their skins in the second half and with real creativity too. They played very well and put Leeds on the back foot. Pit about that missed try scoring opportunity - was it Raynor or your other wing when they couldn't catch the ball? The line was begging anyway. Had that come off then I don't think you would have lost as you would have been too close to let it go.

Damn shame you lost, and that two more of your players went down with injuries. I hope they aren't serious. But if your lads play like that next from the outset in their next game then they will win it.

Very, very pleased with that effort tonight. Tony, Calderwood, Byrne, Dowes, Cusack, Washbrook, Briscoe, Lauaki all out. Lost R Horne and Thackray early on. Several dodgy decisions going against us. Great game and certainly the most entertaining for ages. Top atmosphere as well and credit to Leeds for bringing a good vocal following.

Big thanks to Richard Whiting as well. Loving that "taking the ball cleanly on the full" novelty.

if they hadn't scored 2 tries off their usual forward passes..and that try would have stood (which there was naff all wrong with) what tosspot thaler dissalowed..you could have won..

Its easy to give the ball some air when your 20 odd points down and the opposition have taken their foot off the gas.Rallied well but still way off the top 8 IMO

It'a also easy to capitulate and get thumped - didn't happen

A very encouraging second half from Hull, to fight back like that was great to see, as was the back slapping and general enthusiasm.

We just need to convert this to an 80 minute display.
