I'm ok with it.

I also think it smacks of blaming someone else for himself not being fit.

I heard a lot of things about last season at the time. Some of which is mentioned in this article and by Tanginoa. Some of which isn’t mentioned and doesn’t need to be.

It’s just his opinion but It was obvious he came back early from his injury when he wasn’t fully fit and this confirms it. He was kind of hung out to dry imho.

Long story short is the training wasn’t intense enough last season as now mentioned by two current players. This season appears different which is positive.

He’s had enough stick and held his water I guess but there’s always two sides. It’s probably a somewhere in the middle but it’s not about blaming now it’s about what happens this season

It's easy with 20:20 hindsight, but Poching was a disaster for the club.

I think he is excusing his own poor performances and clear lack of match fitness. I would expect for his own professional standards he would be able to stay fit without coaching. I also don’t like his reference to how much he is paid but with an article like this he must back it up with performances that match his rhetoric.

He had a win % so where in the mid 40s which is up there with Shane McNally and Andy Kelly, he must have been doing something right

The fact that he couldn't even get in last season's team probably tells you all we need to know.

The point isn't whether he is right. It's whether he should say it in public. In my opinion he shouldn't.

He ought to show a bit more humility and just get on with the job. Comes across as a jerk.
