I wouldn't go that far but Prescott gained momentum on the way down, he was essentially dumped. Most similar incidents this season have seen the defenders realising the tackle was dangerous then making sure the player was not dumped, the one on Eastwood being a prime example.

Buderous body weight was just about on him as he hit the floor head sidewards, what looked like an a reckless tackle could of been a nasty injury,

its beggars belief that players can still have a mind blow and do something so stupid, also do head high tackles seem to making an increase or is just me, obviously is down to smothering the ball to stop the off load

Seemed to me like there's been an awful lot of grapple tackles this season; not sure if that's because there actually has been, or just that Wiggie and co on Sky are talking about it more. Don't like to see it though - looks nasty and not a good advert for the game. Maybe it's because so many go in for the tackle thesedays, that the neck is the only place left for the last man in (hereafter referred to as The Bailey) to get hold of.

The issue that I think really needs sorting though is the shoulder charge/body check type tackle; the tackler makes no attempt to actually tackle his opponent and it's bloody dangerous - moreso on a player who is kicking/catching a ball, or who is unaware of the incoming attack. I reckon it's only a matter of time until someone gets seriously injured as a result.
