I believe that a record number of players will be off contract both in the UK and Aus at the end of the season.

Does anyone have a list of players at Wakefield who will be out of contract.
Players could be made available before the end of the season on either a loan or permanent basis. If the Trin have a player of interest. I'm sure Leigh will be showing interest from tomorrow.

Please note this is a 'i think' list, please don't take it as gospel! Also some may have signed new deals but just not yet announced or i've missed them.

I agree with you and I completely agree with the list above. We need a bit of a playing staff overhaul imo this season and some fresh faces.

Tough decisions to be made as to the quality and size of the squad we go with , big name signings get crocked just as easy as the run of the mill players , or worse still don’t perform .Even though we have kept the majority of our roster this year I think most will agree that we’ve all been left a little jaded at their performances so far, even taking into account the ever changing starting line up . Is the coach included in this overhaul or just the players as am I wrong in thinking this is his last season of his contract . Still a long way to go in this season and hopefully a steady improvement in our game, and with that there is plenty of time for players to stake their claim for a renewed contract

Blake Austin is out of contract and Warrington aren't playing him.
I'd take him on loan till end of season.

Leigh might beat us to it, i've heard they are already after 4 players to strengthen there squad.

That won't happen, Chester will never leave out Miller (and he's supposed to be fit for the Leeds game) and we've only just brought in Lino.

I think the retaining list Mayble seem accurate,, however I think Westerman will end up at Cas..
So we will definitely be looking for a no9 and probably a prop if we don't get one this season.
Farges at Saints not been offered a contract yet.

TBH before his injury, Miller was playing really well so I wouldn't swap him for Austin if he comes back and stays playing well. The grass is greener in this case IMHO.

I'm not for playing players out of position but I would like to see him at 9.
