I just don`t get this comment and opinion many seem to have, the amount of time he runs lateral to the defensive line and finds space to make a break is ridiculous and at times the season has looked like the only player capable of making a line break (Barring Hampshire probably) as the team just haven't created anything for the backs. Maybe we should coach it out of him and just tell him he can only run in a straight line into the defence? Maybe whilst we are at it we can tell big Dave not to skip across the defensive line as well?

Some times you have to go sideways to go forwards

Reece’s running was one of the key things that kept the team going especially as we lost key players

Even when we were playing terribly his strong carriers were one of the few areas we could count on

Yes , a pointless and negative comment. Lynne runs sideways when the way forward is blocked and no space has been created by those inside him. Perhaps he should just run forward and take the tackle to keep his ‘haters’ happy.

Why. Reece is not the greatest centre who ever lived
I’ll concede that much. However the competition is sp to say the least, on his day he’s as good as any other British centre. I can’t see why he wouldn’t get selected especially if he plays well in the next three games. Fingers crossed.
