They soon went quiet when Bevan scored his first. Hardly heard them again after that apart from when Wigan fans taunted them with 'shall we sing a song for you' they then gave their usual blast of "oh when the...", do they literally only know one song?

I'm gonna stick up for them a little. One song, or not and even if they did shuffle off with their tail between their legs - how refreshing was it to see that stand in use?

The sport needs more of that. I've said it before - one song or not is better than no songs from the likes of Huddersfield etc.

Oh definitely, although I've just found out that a section of their supporters were heard chanting "Bevan French's mums dead". Scumbags.

I was in the away end last night and the only song about French was “Bevan’s going home”

I’ve seen it suggested in a couple of places but ultimately it’s an easy line for somebody to make up but by the same token, you are one person and it’s unlikely you’d be able to hear everything that was sang, in every section of the stand (much in the same way I couldn’t in the South Stand).

I’d love to think it’s rubbish but even if it’s not, it doesn’t tarnish the St Helens club, it just makes a few people look like fools. I’ve seen a few of them from St Helens at Wigan away games over the years, just like I’ve seen a few foolish Wiganers at your place.
