Just occupational hazard injuries, as for burgess a medial ligament injury isn't as bad as a ACL it's not good but he should be back sooner rather than later I would think, same with tierney I guess.

That's encouraging. Just remembered they mentioned on the radio that Budgie was in the technical area after his injury without any crutches/supports so that's a good sign.

Would guess 6-8 weeks with an MCL injury, maybe less if it's just a strain. Guess Marshall will be getting more game time. Other than one drop I thought he did really well on a tough debut.

I guess Tom Davies is next up, then. I did think Isa went pretty well at centre yesterday, though, which is his original position until he moved into the pack. Maybe play him there with Gildart or Gelling on the wing, if Waney thinks two inexperienced wingers might make us too vulnerable? Marshall did ok, I thought, apart from a weakness under the high ball a few times.

Gildart said in the sponsors lounge he'll be out for another couple of weeks.

Will likely be Marshall, Isa, Gelling and Davies. Unusual looking backline but always good to see youth players get a chance. Hope Bateman is back to take Isa's place. Would give Bretherton a go in place of Sutton.

Is Higginson injured as well?

Hope that they play Bateman at left centre.
