No just the shield and some bloke from the local business community making a stir saying we should be acknowledged as champions which of course all my fellow Warrington fans disagreed with and acknowledged Leeds for their achievement in winning the Grand Final from fifth, the true champions.
They only even started awarding a shield from 2003. When Wigan topped the league under Frank Endacott in 2000 they weren't awarded anything apart from losers medals after losing to Saints, which I think was a shame because that was a terrific side with IMO the best back line ever seen in SL (although it was lightweight on the bench). |
