I'd have prefered a draw - 3 points ahead of Wire and Leeds two behind Hull in the race for 4th (to what looks like a visit to us in the play offs).

Wouldn't have mattered if Hull would have had a 2 point lead on Leeds - no way in a million years they'll stay in 4th ahead of them come the season's end.

That was made even more certain on Friday with Long's injury.

P.S. I can see a scenario where Warrington would have the Club Call and have to choose between Wigan and St Helens. Obviously if we were to beat Leeds in the 1v4 game that wouldn't happen but even now that looks like a very tough game.

I'm more than happy with Leeds winning i'm not interested in who finishes fourth it shouldn't make any difference who we play the fact is we are playing them at home and thats all i'm bothered about we have to beat whoever we play if we want to be in and win the Grand Final Hull & Leeds will both be hard games but at home we have the crowd advantage.

If Leeds had lost today, Hull would have been 3 points ahead of them. Then Hull play Bradford next week and Leeds v Saints that could easily have become 5 points and thats a big lead with or without Long. I've made the point about Hull as well they have Wire before and Leeds after the cup final and that could have been timely for them.

Ultimately though I agree they are finished without Long. I never fancied them with Long to win away anyway.
