Not one to pour scorn on the business plans of those currently at the helm, but you really should google the names of our General Manager and our Commercial Manager........
One is an accountant who stepped up when Gus left and has no experience of running a sports club, let alone a professional one and the other owns 2 companies, one of which I know has the club as a"client" and the other that builds web-sites suspiciously like ours....so definitely no conflict of interest there!

I'll leave it to you to dig as far as you feel necessary, but needless to say I wouldn't be too surprised if it doesn't get any better in 2016!

I think GF presents a reasonable argument. Accountants are generally smart individuals but rarely do you see them run a business.

Alas, in the world we live in Accountants seem to run everything.

Speaking of people previously at the Club back at Brentford and at the Stoop (or had he gone by then) we had another director named Gerry Bouman. As I remember he used to fund the Under 19`s / Academy type level. I believe he was involved in the Oil industry aswell.
IIRC we didnt used to see him about much but remember him once or twice on the pitch back then on the day of the last home game of the season when the departing players received the acknowledgement from the faithful. Anybody know what happened to him ?

I remember him, he was Dutch if I remember correctly. He was a mate of David Hughes, he has not been around since we left The Stoop.

We need a dynamic CEO who knows how to SELL the club to an audience, not count Hughes' cash as it gets flushed down the pan.

The Mechanics/Strategy need to be sport on, but I suspect "network" events will be the long and the short of it....and Ealing's is awash with BNI/Network groups already....that and the new Sales and Marketing (sic) person cold calling local businesses trying to sell 300 fans as an audience!
