Any early news on the venue for the game v Wigan on 18 May? Its down as TBA.

Am I right in thinking no home games in July, last home game in the middle of August?

Taking the Wigan and Wire "on the stoopid effing road" so the prison warder can glory in how big the crowds are and justify a move next season.

So the club signs a sponsorship deal, with the press release hailing the match day experience at the Stoop. We then decide to take two of our biggest games away from the Stoop?
We can already see the press release about the unbounded success of at least the Wigan fixture, "the biggest crowd of the season", even though it would have been that anyway!
Still, they've left no stone unturned in attracting the community in to the Stoop; trumping the excellent work they'd done at Griffin Park! And they simply don't want to come.
Now that the young player feed is starting to come through from West London, let's move a couple of hours journey East to consolidate!

The fixture list has done us no favours again!!!

March - Bank Holiday weekend - Thursday 8pm v Catalan = lowest gate of season nailed on.
May - No home games as we are taking the Wigan game on the 18th `on the F`in road`. All equals zero help for crowds at the Stoop.
June - Home games at very start and end of month. Why o why are we also taking the Wire game `on the road` on the 8th June.
July - No home games. Coupled with June arrangement, equals zero help for crowds at the Stoop.
August - Leeds at home on Monday 5th, followed by Saints away on Friday 9th!!......that should just about decimate our squad. Season effectively ends on the 17th August!!!!!!
September - No home games - season over

All in all just about as bad a fixture list as I can recall.

I see that the 'bigger' clubs have been picked for the on the road games, probably to gauge how well they're supported by away sides and to see if, by playing a big side, it can make a few more neutrals and Broncos fans turn up.

However, picking the Wigan game means no home game in May. Surely one on the road game in April (a month after 3/5 are home games) and another in June (which has been picked) was the way to go?
