What a joke Mc Banana is. If we can`t beat italy, the Aussies will be rolling about the floor laughing in their hotel tonight.
I am wanting England to do well, but with the coaches player selections I don`t think they will.
And in one way I hope the coach fails and gets the sack.
He was supposed to be picking players on form, not on reputation. So he picks a total of 3 from the top 2 clubs :- Huddersfield & Warrington, but 12 from Wigan & Leeds who finished 3 & 4 in the League.

Wigan won the super league so he picked them on form, I don't understand your logic??

It certainly was Wadski, and I for one want England to do well, so its difficult to see them lose to the second lowest ranked team in the World Cup.

bit of a shocker that result! bookies were giving italy a 54 point start!

glad this happened yesterday though and not next week against the aussies, will give them a big wake up call.

cant read too much into the result with unlimited interchanges but still a big shock.

wasnt at the game but it sounds like cudjoe is one of the scapegoats, had a stinker of a game in defence which is a surprise as that is his strong point!

England knights went well against samoa, ferres and lawrence grabbing a try each

Well done to broughy and Scotland on there win!!

Thought they lost to PNG although by all accounts Broughy played well and Scotland looked good when he had the ball in hand. They were dominated in the forwards though.

PNG aren't Italy, second lowest ranked team, and Scotland aren't the 3rd ranked team, so hardly comparable, Brough played well in the 20 mins run out he was given
