| Examiner lead story for today -
[urlhttp://www.examiner.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/news/hull-fc-coach-lee-radford-11165529[/url
Lee Radford says we'll be okay.Well then our worries are over,we have the backing of the great man.The fact that FC fans have hated on this guy as being out of his depth for so long, but now the Examiner reckon what we need is his opinion to steel us to getting back to winning ways. This did make me chuckle.

Who did we beat to end that 17 game losing streak? Warrington - could that be an omen for this Friday.Backs against the wall just like 2001.
2001, Brandon Costin bossed that game, plus a great solo try from the much maligned Ben Kusto. Wire fans saw their that day I recall, angry in the stands to the tune of how could we lose to this e.

The losing streak was ended with a draw against London when Dave Atkins scored a last minute try. The first win was against Wakefield. The Warrington win was a particular highlight though.

| Been away for a few weeks so have missed what's being dished up, but just watched a few highlights.
Never mind how low we have sunk in terms of what Lee Radford has said, just how low has our ability to defend sunk? From what I have just watched it's absolutely pathetic. A lot of the players seem to have forgotten how to tackle one on one, what the hell is that all about? I also keep reading that we are unfit, unfortunately I cannot really make judgement on that watching the highlights so will reserve that judgement for Friday night. If there is a fitness issue, at least that is not too difficult to put right, with the correct attitude from the players, but do we have the correct fitness coaches in place as I believe it was a serious mistake to let Greg Brown go. Does anybody know who our fitness coaches are and what is their background?

| It was Andersons decision to replace Greg Brown. He tried to justify the change with numerous statements during preseason. Fact is the Players look Chubby and unfit, the number of games we have lost in the latter stages. The prof is there to be seen. All Coaches lives by their decisions and Anderson clearly has made a lot of bad ones including Player recruitment during his tenure.

| Of course Greg brown was replaced- it would have been a daft thing to do to leave the club without a set of conditioners. You are talking like Greg brown was sacked- it could actually be that since Greg brown had been with the Giants since he qualified from hudds uni he may have felt that he needed a fresh challenge and to add something else to his career-he may have CHOSEN to leave. You also assume that Anderson was the one making the new appointment- perhaps not!

Concentration is why we are loosing games not our fitness, we aren't getting battered are we, we are losing by one or two tries scored in patches of the game.
You could arguably be the fittest team in the league it still wouldn't matter if you are gifting penalties or jumping out of the line are slipping a tackle.
Have you the BMI stats and fitness test data to prove this? I'd be interested in taking taking a look.

The problem is the expansive game ain't working our precision of pass in the opponents 20m area is shocking and how many times have we set off like a house on fire but scored either no points or just six for 20 minutes of dominance then immediately conceded on the oppositions first attack.
I lost count last season home and away the number of times we fans stood up to applaud the repelling of multiple sets of six from the opposition when fighting to stay in the game or holding on to a narrow lead which usually we did.
I can count the number of times this season on one hand !!
We aren't a bad team as we can score plenty of points at times just badly organised in defence and I do agree with you apparently no where near as fit or mentally strong as last season.

I've no doubt that the BMI figures would be ok but since my first view of Jamie Ellis in the blue kit at Saints we have looked oddly shaped. Watching Eorl at Castleford blowing hard and struggling to get in the game and the fact he and Patrick played only 24 minutes at Hull and Mikey Wood less than 5 minutes at Castleford do point to the fact that the coaches inter changes aren't always the greatest and at times seem to be robot like rather than reflecting the state of the game at the time they are made.

| You have to remember a lot of these players - like Eorl- have been coming back from injury- they will take a while to get fully match fit.
