He had signalled his intention to return home weeks ago, regardless of SL next year. Will Daggeer received most of the plaudits last week but I thought Mortimer played very well.

Once again, nothing said by the club.Thanks Dan, for posting it on Instagram!! Leaves us in a tight situation. By my reckoning, we only have 20 to pick from for a few weeks:-
2 Dawson-Jones; 6 Reynolds; 7 Hutchison; 11 Larroyer; 14 Hood; 18 Mason; 19 Owens; 20 Richards; 21 Gregon; 22 Bailey; 23. Cunningham (??) 24 Blagbrough; 25 Bergal; 26 Dezaria; 29 Bailey; 30 Higham; 32 Walne A; 33 Johnson; 34 Dagger; 35 Walne J.
That's with Acton suspended, and Evans injured, and assuming Cunningham is still with us.

Well, in the absence of the club belatedly announcing any more signings, or any other players making announcements via social media, or any other clubs announcing they have signed our players, I'm just going by the clubs 'current squad' on the website. (which, incidentally, still includes Dan)
However, for all I/the supporters know, that squad could be any number between 10 and 25, I suppose.  Of course, I'll still be there on Sunday, hoping that we at least have 17! |
