Just like to say thanks to the club for my sons(Ben) birthday card today........this had been hand delivered but we was out when it was dropped off, my lad is chuffed to bits that he got the card but a bit sad that he wasnt in to receive it.

Things like this gesture is fantastic and shows how lucky we are to support a great club that is run by a superb B.O.M. Thankyou for this.

Was this a Junior Centurion card as if so I'd advise getting a programme this month as it usually goes in that as well.
Its the little things being done very well that make a huge difference especially to our younger fan base.

Nearly forgot, Happy 8th Birthday to Ben.

All the players autographs were in the card and got to frame the bloody thing for him now to hang in his bedroom........keeps him happy though.

Things like this DO make a difference to the youngsters - especially the new ones (like my lad)........his 1st season watching the mighty Leythers and seen them win a final/ got his pic taken with the trophy and now a autographed birthday card.
How good a club and 1st season is that.....just need the GF cup now and jobs a good en.

You NEVER forget watching the players as a little 'un!!

Back in the 60s my Uncle asked Micky Martyn to get the the New Zealand teams autographs for me i was over the moon and still have them to this day
and im positive it was things like that that gave me a lifetime love of Leigh RLFC
