Just wondered whether our super purpose built stadium has under soil heating or some other similar facility to combat freezing conditions?

I hear that temperatures are going to plunge over the the weekend, dont think it will affect the game on saturday but it would be nice to know that we had the facilities just in case.

No The HJ doesn't have undersoil heating.

I thought only football grounds had undersoil heating like Hull FC, Wigan, possibly Huddersfield.... we have big sheets to cover the grass

To be honest, it's not neccessary in my opinion. We never had it during the winter seasons so why do we need it now?

You wouldn't be saying that if tomorrow nights game is called off due to a frozen pitch.

Technically you are correct though as SL is supposed to be summer rugby yet the RFL are so stupid that they deem it fit to start the competition in midwinter

Actually, I would be pretty damn pleased as I cannot go on saturday for the first time against Wigan in SL so I'm praying it'll be called off. Fat chance though.
