Has anybody noticed that whenever a player is interviewed after signing for Wire, they only ever talk about how great the atmostphere is at the stadium etc. Just watched the Stone interview and it was exactly like Sneyd. It's as if thats all they can conjure up when asked about signing for us. It's almost getting embarrassing now. Nothing about what a great club Warrington are, or our proud history as a Rugby league town. Or the vision the club has for success. You never hear anybody say that. Could you imagine a player being interviewed after signing for Wigan or Saints? It would be totally different i'd imagine. Maybe i'm being harsh because Stone is an aussie after all and he probably doesn't know much about us. But it just shows that we've become a joke.

IMO he's purely used us as a well paid, stop gap, but a high salary paying club, until his family circumstances changed When George has been good then he was very good,But have we had value for money from signing him? Not IMO  He's done nothing wrong. Down to the club how much they pay him. But, as a marquee player, I don't think he has delivered on value. His good games are getting more scarce and he does seem to "go missing" when his good game is desperately needed. Our best performance this season (Leigh CC semi) was with him out of the side.  Wish him well but won't be losing sleep.

I think he's been one of the best players we've had in a long time, not enough quality players around him and a constant lack of forward power every single year is a big issue. We rely on him too much to drag the team along all the time.
When he does go he goes with best wishes and i hope he does well over there again.
