I dont think Williams has ever given us value for money.

I'm not even slightly bothered by him leaving. He goes down as just another bad decision in the failed 'galactico' recruitment strategy of our club.


Hopefully we will start to move away from that desperate model now.

Williams leaving will free up a substantial amount of money we can use to strengthen the squad.  As a Federation Trained Player marquee player his notional Salary Cap Qualifying Cost to us is £100,000. It’s a 6 we need is there a case for Dufty to 6 and CTW to fullback next season and just cash in on Williams at the end of the season. Go bigger on forwards and a quality attacking centre. Just asking for a friend.
