| Wires71: Big lads mate: Been there done it got the T shirt, literally, enjoyed the experience, not the result, did the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon, unbelievable experience, definitely wouldn’t go back, overall not for me but one less on the bucket list and that’s about it I’m afraid
A very expensive 4 nights
Yeah once was enough for me too, I went in 2007
I enjoyed the drive to San Diego through the Mojave desert though
Felt like I was in a movie.
Well that movie on Saturday was a Ealing comedy.

| I for one never read it as a love-in just a fair reflection of the two clubs and the different cultures within the clubs
No real idea of the truth of comments made about what went on in Vegas but given the history of our club it would not be hard to believe it. Anyway I get what King Charles is saying hmm I mean Wires71.

| I think if the article had said that Wigan had spent the two hours pre-match cage-fighting with lions and eating babies alive, and Warrington had spent the time in quiet contemplation, it would have been held up as an example of Wigan's superior aggression and Warrington's passiveness. Basically Shaw sat with the Wigan team and they did a few basic things like talk to each other, and he wasn't in the Wire dressing room but it was definitely and sounded a bit noisy.

| Back yesterday from Vegas after a horrendous journey back.
The whole experience was brilliant, we did the club VIP package, which involved meet and greet with players, private tour of Stadium and UFC performance institute, and invite to the Warrington/Penrith opposed training session, all were fantastic. Mixing with the NRL and SL fans from all over the place was great and Vegas is a lot of fun.
The game was obviously disappointing and highlighted the gap thatcurrently exists between us and Wigan. How many of our players would get into their team on current form (Walker and Ashton maybe).
?
I've seen a lot of criticism online regarding our players professionalism, but from what i saw i don't think they did a lot wrong. We went to the private meet and greet party after Fremont on the Thursday and the players were mixing with fans but drinking water, Wigan were there doing the same.
The players drank at the after match party but they weren't bladdered (i can't vouch for what happened after we left at midnight) , they were mostly sat with their families and chatting to them they were genuinely gutted about how they conducted themselves on the pitch.
There was clear ill feeling from some of the players around the travel arrangements organised by the club, indirect flights in economy seats to Heathrow at 10am meaning they were picked up at 6am the morning after the game and a coach journey back from Heathrow to Warrington, when recovery is key before the next game was this the right decision?. Wigan flew home 24 hours later in premium i think?
The whole Burgess Visa and late arrival was a massive distraction in my opinion i think some blame probably lies with the Club, not sure how this wasn't sorted in advance. I'm sure there a lot of things the club would have done differently in hindsight to make the trip more of a success.

I used the gender neutral impersonal pronoun "one" so as to not make it directed at just browny, but more a question for the wider readership.

There used to be a sales management trick where the salesmen were told if you win the business you fly back in club, otherwise you are in coach.
