What has Hodgson done that would make him a good head coach for us other than being a good player for us and having spent some time as an assistant. We could appoint Lee Briers if that was the criteria.

Indeed, huge gamble. He doesn't even have the initial conciliatory buffer of being an ex-player to fall back on - the fans will be on his back sharpish if he doesn't start well particularly as I sense HKR will be much improved in 2021.

Many Hull fans have very high expectations ... it doesn't surprise me that some of there "fans" are not happy.
He will need good recruitment & luck to succeed.
