Back in the pre-SKY, pre-home internet, pre-everything era (we were still living in caves up until 1980 kids), I was the proud owner of several Wires matches on Micron video and Cull sometimes acted as co-commentator on those. And, my, what a treat it was, given the alternative was Ray French & Alex Murphy on the beeb.

Many a night I've come in awash with Newky-brown and spurned the delights of my scandanavian video collection in favour of Cas v Wires circa 1988 and tried to count the number of times Cull said "literally" in one sentence.

It was literally hundreds. I think. I usually, literally, fell asleep on my parents living room floor.
