I can't help think that MK made the right decisions in letting them go when he did. Certainly not the type of guys any Club needs tbh.

At least we now know why we failed to live up to expectations over this past two years. I don't think it was just limited to a couple of players either. Let's hope with Tim Sheens contacts in the game we have seen an end to players off field personalities/antics not being properly checked out before signing all these wrong n's. These kind of players on big bucks just kill a dressing room.

Was told that of the players who have left the biggest trouble causer was the one we all thought had come home to Salford. Can honestly say the only one who's gone I'd have kept would have been Patterson.

Same here I totally agree I thought he was a decent attacking weapon at times and appeared to have the right mentality. The big question is will Murdock Masilla be better value? Obviously Tim Sheens thinks so. Hopefully the fighting spirit of 2006 isn't too far away and then fingers crossed it will give the club something to build on.

Odd that when these players were released there were lots of fans (some our own some from other clubs) calling Koukash for not looking after them properly. Yet now he appears to have been vindicated the silence is deafening.

No, a comment from someone on staff. From what I gather we are better off without him, sad as brilliant player who will be wasted in the lower division.

If you are both referring to Hansen, he gave an interview a few weeks ago to one of the rugby league papers saying something also the lines of: sometimes you move for money and sometimes you move for love/fun; the Salford move was the former, the Leigh move was the latter. Couldn’t say whether it was paper talk or sour grapes, but there you go.
