I think it would be helpful to all concerned if the club informed supporters about injury news/selection decisions on the clubs website. It's non existant and it just encourages rumours about players starting and spreading on social media. I appreciate the club may not want to make it public knowledge if a player is dropped but they could just give another reason.

For instance - I don't know why BJB isn't playing now and there was a rumour on the Hull forum recently saying he's signing for them in 2016. If there is no truth in this, it would be good to know because after all the negative news lately this lack of thought just creates more.

I'd imagine BJB is suffering from the fallout of Theo's situation, where Iestyn is trying to keep Theo as Dobbo's half back partner and Rangi at FB.
There's no way Niall will be dropped from the 17, he is cover for FB & wing, same as BJB - got to keep the academy produced players happiest

I appreciate this but it still doesn't explain why MCB is now ahead of BJB in the pecking order. Furthermore what is the point accommodating Theo (by moving an international halfback to fullback) if he isn't prepared to show his commitment to the club by signing a new contract? I know the club want him to change his mind but surely some kind of deadline needs to be set. All this will achieve is unsettling Niall Evalds who has hardly put a foot wrong this year.

Id like to see both happy and wanting to stay at the club being up coming future stars, but if it meant upsetting one over the other for selection then it wouldn't be Nial.

For me if fit tomorrow BJB must play, Josh Mantalato is massive and will climb all over Caton Brown.

Said it long before he signed for KR but he is someone we should have looked at bringing over.

Maybe MCB is training better.
Maybe BJB has a knock.
Maybe BJB isn't 100% fit.
Maybe Harris wants to give MCB an extended run out.
Maybe it's just a rotational thing.

There's lots of reasons why he may or may not be picked. Pointless speculating, or at least pointless highlighting one reason without due consideration to others. Leave the solely negative posts to Mario/Neil. At least then we know what to expect when you see the Italian plumber pop up.

I don't think it's unreasonable Butcher as a supporter to want to know the selection availability of star players. This area of communication between club and supporters is I believe something that could be improved upon very easily. The problem is if people ask questions and don't get answers or the information isn't made available it's natural for people to read more into the rumours. I don't consider this subject to be negative, I see it more as constructive feedback for the club.
