| As expected, Sarginson, Isa & Mossop all got off the charges at the Goon supporting RFL nonpunitive tribunal.
LMS gets charged with "player unnecessarily taps face of opponent (FPN)". What a joke, you couldn't make it up. It's not even an offence, there are no charging or penalty guidelines. Apparently this is classed as "other contrary behavior". Decision was no charge.
FNP gets charged with a) Pulling LMS's hair whilst LMS is on the floor. Unbelievably he gets no charge for this and:
b)Punching LMS - reaction to opponent !!. FNP pleads not guilty and claims it was not a punch and "more of a push"
FNP submits that "the opponent (LMS) approaches FNP in an aggressive manner and touches his face in a provocative manner"
The tribunal finds him guilty with a fine and 1 match ban.
However, the tribunal also says in its summing up and rationale that "it is accepted the opponent (LMS) is aggressive and provoking the player (FNP). Idiots.
More strange is that it mentions two other incidents which it says [u have been dealt separately [/u (by the tribunal). Firstly the hair pulling - see above. The second is when "the opponent (LMS) is in the line awaiting to receive the ball when it is knocked down (??) and the opponent is "taken off the ball".
I've looked and there is no evidence that the tribunal even considered this second incident where LMS was taken out. Why no charge ?
This is important as this was the incident which led to the other ones.
Obviously to the goons relief there is no conception by the Tribunal of a cumulative effect and that the 3 offences / incidents should actually be viewed as one "incident" for which he would have and deserved to have received a much bigger ban.

| It was never going to be a huge ban. Players get taken off the ball every week and a penalty is sufficient.
But it does show he's a grade A idiot so should be simpler in the future to wind up and remove from play.

| Wigan's Embarrassing Viewpoint Quote to the Disciplinary.
Player accompanied by Assistant Coach John Winder. Pleads not guilty to punching with a clenched fist. Concedes there was striking with an open hand to opponents face as a result of provocation. There had been other incidents in the same game between both players that had been dealt with. Matters appeared to have calmed down to some form of normality. The opponent then in an aggressive manner approaches the player and touches his face in a provocative manner. The player reacts by pushing his open hand towards the opponent and there is minimal contact with the opponents face. This is not a violent strike and the effect is not substantial.

So I was seeing things. Hold on I've watched again. Better explain to him the difference between open hand & fist

| For a start his name is Frank-Paul Nuuausala, not Frank-Nuuausala Paul. (FPN) you didn't even get that right either. LMS such an angel who's never been known for bother causing, was in my opinion shabbily treated, not him one for a sly push in the back, or forearm across the face while a man's on the deck, no not him, but I must say it was out of character of him to rub his forehead and luscious locks in the face of an opposition player, after all it must be said that on the Saints thugometer all that grease and dandruff could have blinded a man and ended his career!

| Madness.. this from a fan of a team who cannonball third man in, lift the players and throw them, locking heads in (Goons are masters at it). And did you see the football esq rolling around from Rat-boy claiming he was trapped. 5 minutes after Saints got penalised for not getting away from the play the ball (after Tampax-O'Curly mop threw the player behind him).
I need to go for a pint in Goon-ville after players bottling each other and the delusional comments from the fans about the game, Th'ale must be strong....

| I personally don't like the ban for punching as two players will stand toe to toe in next few weeks and throw punches and all they get us sin bin. The disaplinary ain't consistent on punching imo. I've either a ban or it isn't.
The hit he did on lms isn't a ban either imo. It soft and stupid by FPN.
I do think the hair pull is a ban, imo that's sly play by FPN and it's a cowardly act. I don't like things like pulling hair at all.

Congratulations Hombre you once again have managed to scrape your way through the bottom of yet another barrel. As an advocate for the prosecution of FPN that's a pretty feeble effort, and anyway I don't know why you bothered. Because at the minute I think FPN is a bit of an idiot too. He's let down his team mates, the club and the fans as well. It's a hard game for hard men but some on “ALL” teams do cross the line, and it's always been so! Remember one man's “dirty sod” is another man's “you don't mess with him, he'll never take a backward step”.

| If you watch the saints-Wigan game again, you will notice a number of tackles where saints have a 3rd man going in low to the legs to lock them together.
This isn't something only Wigan do, try and take the blinkers off.
The 'punch' was one of the softest I've ever seen, many players in the past have done far worse and not been banned.
How come Wigan with their apparent control over the RFL have been punished with a ban? It doesn'nt make sense does it - or is it just a load of crap spouted by 'outraged' fans?
