Didn't someone mention this name, along with another from Leigh in a different post? I can't seem to find it.

I know Brierly's been mentioned too, but I think it was two other names.

Hopkins is looks a great prospect from what i have seen.

Wears number 8, so looks like he's primarily a prop. I know that's not set in stone, with Sia wearing 4 and playing in the pack. It looks like we're seriously looking at the Championship though, after Walmsley and with Ashworth having apparently signed too.

I think he came to increasing prominence when Chris Hill left for the Wire. Seem to rememeber Rowley mentioning on the radio he was originally a second rower but has upped his game this season as prop enough to get noted by the superleague clubs.
It looks as though we might have good enough promising forwards coming through to the future, so do we really need him.

The difference is Sia was signed as a centre to replace Talau, but they quickly realised he didnt have the lateral movement needed to play centre, so they moved him into the second row.

We seem to be building an exciting, young team.

Sam plays prop for us but is a loose forward or second row. The lad is another Chris Hill in heart but will be better given full time training. Sam will be an England player within 12 months if he goes to Saints. Sorry to see him go but he goes with every Leythers best wishes because he has never taken a backward step and wore the Leigh shirt with pride. I just hope we can keep him untill the end of this season.

Hes not as good as Chris Hill.......... to light weight to play prop in Super League and not technically good enough to play back row..... would be a bad signing for you guys
