What's the weather like over in St Helens? Any danger of the match not going ahead tonight?

In Preston we've got light snow but it's not sticking due to the wet ground. Is it any different there?

I'm in Wigan, unfortunately, and the roads are fine. I know it's not St. Helens, but it's closer than Preston.

Blizzard conditions for me in Town Centre. Not sticking too badly lots of slush. THink game will be ok.

Glorious sunshine, the sun shines on the righteous

Wet snow flying around, mostly slush on the ground but this is due to continue all day and so if it does then it could cause problems in the area around the stadium. The pitch itself has had covers on since the captain's run yesterday so should be fine.

It'll come down to how safe the walk ways in and around the stadium are, with very little traffic or people in them last night and today, they'll be bad without treatment

It's not the pitch that's causing concern, its the surrounding areas apparently.

Roads clear in Knowsely. Rest of the snow is melting as its reasonably mild (out of the wind). They won't call this off unless something dramatic changes.
