I hope Saints hurry up and get some signings announced. Walmsley would be nice for a start, but we need more. I really though we might get this guy.

It's all well and good if we get him on cheap deal but we need a stand off ASAP before any postion.

By all accounts even if we do sign Walmsley he'll be spending next season on loan back at Batley.

It's funny isn't it. McManus and his media cronies make out we're doing all we can and the more sycophantic supporters roll out the 'there isn't anyone available on the market' line. Then the other clubs go and sign players in positions we're in desperate need of.

Ta'ai and Holdsworth would have solved our problems and both have moved this week. We could have released Hohaia, I'm sure one of the NRL clubs would pick him up.

There's plenty available, we're just not willing to win a bidding war. We have been ousted on NUMEROUS signings over the past couple of years by more ambitious clubs.

I realise that the stadium has eaten up a MASSIVE chunk of money, but now we have got it we cannot take our eyes of the ball with our recruiting, but it seems that we have. If we continue to play the way we have this season then attendances could drop.
