Anyone any idea what the injuries are that are preventing Ward & Ferres playing?

Ward - knee
Ferres - abductor muscle

Ward was his knee wasn't it? They said last week it was to do with pushing himself too early for England training. Although was told before Xmas he fell skiing and damaged it.

Is Ferres' the injury he suffered in the England camp?

No that was a calf injury.

McDermott said on Friday that Ward is a bit ahead of Ferres. Ward managed a 5km run before the game and they'll see what he's like during the week and he may well be featuring vs Fev.

Galloway apparently is making good progress from his injury and hoping to play sometime in April.

Hopefully both Ward & Ferres make for the ST's game with at least some friendly minutes under their belts
As a side ive seen reports Matty Smith broke his leg today playing against Widnes so a big miss for them.

A very big miss for them, if that ends up the case.

Nothing confirmed yet but Cunningham has said it doesn't look good.

I see McIlorum needs further surgery on his ankle and will miss at least the first two months. Have to wonder if he'll ever be able to get back to his former level.

That Mcilorum one was very nasty but didnt know he needs more surgery.

With regards to Stevie Ward, is anyone else concerned for the kid? Seems it's just one thing after another. I could see him having to cut things short if his luck carries on the way it is.

Slight concern ATM with his knee flaring up again but he's still at an age where he could be fine.
