Toronto
Toulouse
Catalans
London
will Catalans still get Saturday night tv coverage
Toronto get premier sports
this could be a good thing and definitely different from the last 10 years

Agreed. Way out of my budget to go see all these. More importantly will cost the club in lost revenue at home and travelling costs will also increase compared to previous years.
Not sure on us reaching MPG . Mind you I didn't honestly think we would make top four!!!

| Also what about the players being part time.
Might not be easy for them to get time off work.
Agree attendance figures at home will be shocking.

| If that scenario occurred the total away support for all those four fixtures wouldn't reach 200. An absolute joke the way our game is going. How do the RFL expect clubs to survive with income streams reduced by such lack of away support? How are supporters going to be able to follow their club away from home? It just proves once again that the game below SL is inconsequential to the powers that be and we all know what happens when you build a house on sand.

www.rugby-league.com/article/508 ... or--season
Its things like this that peeve me off. Why is it that the RFL and the 12 SL clubs agree on the structure of next years league. the structure effects all clubs, probably the lower league clubs even more yet we never get a say. The RFL do not give a sh*t about lower league rugby

| Playing devils advocate - but do championship clubs bring that many away fans? Do we take many fans away?
What is most worrying to me is that the North American clubs will be fast tracked at the expense of existing clubs - should they go pop or, with luck, start their own successful league. What will be left to replace them?

Sneer at Bradford, if you wish, but most clubs will miss the Bulls in Div 2 next year.
Rervers, Fax, Fev bring significant numbers. The rest - nowhere.

It's measured in hundreds, but with several away games this year, we've matched or bettered the home team support numbers. For some clubs, that's very welcome revenue.
