Fitzhenry and Fulton are good signings but get some more players from super league like pat richards and rob burrow if u can afford dem

Well I imagine they are getting a different player to the one who left their club. They seem to be forming their opinion of Fitzhenry as a winger, which he was when he left there, but obviously he's added more utility value to his game since then with him featuring at hooker.

I guess it will depend on where they plan on playing him as to how much impact he's gonna make in the NRL.

I wish we could have kept him; he was turning out to be a cracking hooker.

My favouritre player of 2009. Consumate professional who peaked at the right time. That try against Leeds in the play-offs was excellent. Said my personal goodbye after the game too, what a gent.

No offence but we have better juniors coming through our ranks than watsing money buying Fitzy back.
Everyone knows he is Sheens lovechild and he will now take over from Johnny Morris as the fans whipping boy.

Personally, I think he is a okay player. I think we have signed him back for his utility value more than anything as he can cover hooker and outside backs however I do believe that we have better juniors coming through the system.

Fitsy doesnt really do defence. One of the most non - tackling hookers Rovers have ever had. I would imagine one of the lowest counts for a hooker in SL.

It was Fitzy's defence that got him ahead of Fisher in the first place. Fisher, Cockayne...etc are leg (or as some people call it) text book tacklers something of which is no longer a part of rugby league. Wrestling is a big part of the game now and clubs are willing to give more meters away as long as the play of the ball is slower than what a leg tackler like Fish can offer.

Call me old fashioned but I'm not sure I agree with that. Fisher stops them in their tracks and is imho our best tackler around the ruck. What's needed is some proper two man tackling with Fisher taking the legs and A. N. Other wrapping the ball and helping to win the wrestle to stop the quick ptb.
