Toronto have know about this problem for a long time, so why just bring it to light now?

Rugby league is becoming a laughing stock. Still no fixture list and now it looks like one club cannot fulfil its fixtures.

Given that the season was in the early stages when it was suspended it should just be cancelled for 2020. Invite a Championship club to replace Toronto, have two mini leagues of six clubs playing each other twice with a play off between the winners of the two leagues.

I don't quite follow this, have their 6 month visas expired as a consequence of coronavirus, or would they have expired anyway?

If it's the latter, then it was never going to work anyway.

I was thinking the same... If they played their first game in Uk in Feb and everything was normal in 2020, they wouldn't be able to fulfil any fixtures in the UK beyond August anyway? Bizarre for most sports but unfortunately this kind of amateurish administration is all too common in RL....and thats not a dig at Toronto, its the sport in general.

I expect they will be granted a temporary extension due to Covid 19.

Toronto have withdrawn from the 2020 Super League season. It will continue as an eleven team competition.
