alegend:A 5 year injury problems, keep well clear ,We should have learnt our lesson with Trueman Where do you get a 5 years injury problem from bud? He's averaged over 20 games a year between the NRL and NSW/Q Cup since he made the NRL in 2021, which for his age and position is pretty solid imo especially when you consider who he's behind in that Broncos front row - Payne Haas , Pat Carrigan and Jordan Riki. The only bad injury to my knowledge, that kept him out was when he suffered an MCL injury, which kept him out for about 8 weeks, but he still managed to play in 18 games. That's the only real injury I can remember him having, or can find info on, keeping him out for any time. He played 16 NRL games in 2021 and 4 NWS Cup. He played 14 NRL games in 2022 and 6 NSW Cup. He played 16 NRL games inb 2023 and 9 NSW Cup He played 12 NRL games in 2024 and 8 Q Cup. He played 2 NRL games this year before Maguire sent him down to Q Cup because he promoted potential star Ben Te Kura, who's an absolute beast for a 21-year-old, the tallest player in the NRL at 6ft 9 and weighs probably 125kg. From what I've heard watching the NRL, he's out of contract at the Broncos this year and has already expressed his desire to move back to Sydney, and Michael Maguire wants to make room on the cap, so he wants to let him move on. He's a good player and exactly the right age, 25, which fits with what we're doing. I think he'll get another contract in the NRL, but I would be very happy if he landed at Trinity.

| He has indeed, but I just mean that calibre of player really. There aren’t many great wingers off contract either side of the world, and I’m sure that’s in the team’s thoughts.

I agree, but I really meant Walmsley for cover and competition. We’re looking upwards, and while Walmsley’s improving, I’d rather have Dom Young or Ronaldo Mulitalo. That sounds like a joke, but that’s probably where we’re looking now - akin with Tevaga.
For example, I also want us to re-sign Cozza and Croft too, but that will make us the 6th or 7th best team in Super League again.
Think Dom Young as signed for a Ozz club[/quote] He's back at Newcastle Knights.

Weel, that's a bit like saying we could do with some of the SOO players......

| IMO we need a big nasty disruptive hard to handle front rower who can come off the bench and rattle the opposition for 15 minutes a half.
Looking at us next year with a fully fit squad and the additions so far my selection would be Jowitt Walmsley Hall Pratt Johnstone Trueman Lino McMeeken Smoothy Uele Storton Vangana Tevaga
Smith Rodwell Fa’atili ?????? Signing as prescribed earlier
Got Rourke, Tchimambe, Scott, Myers, to cover 1 to 5 We have good back row cover Could probably do with another quality half We have 3 quality hookers But we are short on front rowers unless we move a back rower up which isn’t ideal

| I agree. Except I'd like the big disruptor to be a second row. Like a better Tanginoa or like Griffin was in hus prime.
