Not here to troll guys we was dusted 40 - 0 last year in france so we know whart its like. Just watched the game and some of the defending by Dan Sarginson is scandolous. I know he wasent the only one but I noticed against Wire Chris Bridge destroyed him all night. He was also at fault for a couple of the Hull KR trys last week. What am I missing ? People seem to have him down as a shoe in for England but I just dont see him as a international player. Just an opinion guys.

He isn't a centre and I doubt if he ever will be.
I have never seen him as a top player and on present form I wouldn't have anywhere near the squad however, we haven't got one decent at the club so I expect he will be pardon the pun a shoe in for the remainder of the season.
I predicted a few weeks he would struggle and unfortunately he has played as poorly as I thought he may do. I hope he makes me eat my words in the next few weeks but I very much doubt it.

Last season he went 'okay to good', his selection was pretty deserved if not a bit of a shock. Then he had that stormer against the Aussies.

This season he's been 'average to poor'. Feel a bit for him as he seems an honest lad, he's laid some great passes to Burgess in 18 months, scored some great tries but lets not forget where we got him from as well. I certainly don't have him down a shoe-in, think he's a confidence player.

I don't think gildart is necessarily ready for week in week out SL but surely he can't be worse that sarge at the min with his form

He improved out of sight by the end of last season. He's back to square one this - not sure why.

He's become a complete liability in defence - he can't play next week otherwise Watkins will have a field day. He needs time out to work on his positioning and tackling. Teams are now targeting his side.

I totally agree Andy but who do you put in his place?
Tomkins is just as bad defensively and the two together are a try fest for any team.
I fear another 50 points next week I really do.

Bateman has played well for us in the left centre v Stains last season on Good Friday. He'll tighten up that side considerably. If we play Sarginson v Watkins I'll have to watch through my hands.

He's gone next year anyway.

All a team has to do is get a simple one vs one on him and he's beat. That is unacceptible for a side that is challenging for a super league title. To be fair to Sarg Joel was just as bad on the other side, he was beaten way too easily but he's a monster at second row. That formulates to a simple suggestion, play them in their naturual positions which for Sarg is fullback (for me)
