i can only imagine this is what the aussies feel like before origin i have gone through every emotion in 3 days and im expecting biff, blood, big hits, skill, passion i cant think of any other game than origin where you get that

saturday is going to be a massive game and i hope the next 4 days fly past

I'm expecting the most physical contest Wigan have been involved in for a vast amount of years on Saturday and i'm confident we'll be fine with that. The players had a huge pre season and look in top shape. We are playing against a side thats had some injuries and a tough challenge cup run and I think we're fresher. They may have had a week off but we'll have had a good 8 days preperation and playing last week will do us the power of good imo because we've had too many weekends off over the past couple of months.

It's going to be physical, quick and very very tough and if we win it'll be the sweetest victory I can remember for a long time. In 2006 we longed for nights like what we'll get on Saturday and i'm going to enjoy it.

Whatever happens we know we'll go there and compete and will be able to look back on 2010 with pride.

It's a good comparison that. I suppose this week's game will have a lot of the SOO characteristics about it, as both sets of players probably not only want to win, but really want their opponents to lose. Whatever happens, we're in for a brutal game I think.

I feel as though the pressure is all on Leeds and that we're the underdogs, so I'm feeling quite relaxed going to Headingley on Saturday.

Maguire needs to get his Bench absolutely spot on for this one. I have a slight worry that Fielden may get embroiled in the off the ball stuff and go off his game as he did against Hudds.

Just hope the team has learned a harsh lesson from the Hudds game. Stay focused on the job, remain disciplined and this game is won.

I said exactly this last night if we (especially Joel) can keep our heads and not let the niggling get to us is should be one hell of a battle. If not I fear we may easily be down to 12 men or less very quickly!!!!
