Despite one or two decent runs when he came off the bench he didn't really get much of an opportunity to put himself in the shop window today (assuming he is on his way out).

Part of me really wanted him to have a huge impact on the game today and perhaps from a Saints point of view he did.

I know people have questioned his defence in the past and we have certanly seen how he has been targeted by opposition runners, ive not yet had chance to see the game on tape (and i don't really want too) but i am wondering if its a coincidence that Saints seemed to really get on top when Feka was on the field.

Did Feka figure at all in the second half?

I don't want to have a dig at Maguire cause I love the guy but he just can't work out how to use subs when we need them.

On that point, I think you're right. Certainly on the evidence of todays game. Piggy should have been on the field for the last quarter, for some reason he wasn't. And I'm aware the young lad who was on in his place scored.

Spot on really. McIlorum scored but I have no doubt more pressure could have been applied with piggy on the field.

So did I. When he came on, we were attacking.. Some daft penalty from Bailey later and we were defending. Feka got lost on the wing and Saints scored.

He made a big hit on Fozzard a few yards from our line but imo and maguires i would imagine he got up way to quickly. Roby capatalised by scooting and scoring although i aint putting the blame on Feka as the three players in the tackle could of stopped him,but he didnt help by jumping up and allowing a quick play the ball with the defence not set properly.

He isnt being used correctly, but when he is on the field, he isnt really doing much, a sad winding down of his Wigan career, when O'Carroll is fit again, baring injuries I dont think he will play.

I feel sorry for feka he can't do right for doing wrong!! He makes good yards when given chance but for some reason does not get any game time, weather that is something to do madge's thinking or i don't know! But if that's the case that is the the 2nd game madges has not used the 4 subs bench correctly!!! Either play him or pick someone else who can offer more!!!

Couldn't understand why Maguire didn't bring him on in the 2nd half even for 10mins. I even think that he didn't use all his 12 interchanges.
